Accomplished Tuition – Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 5 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to online tuition provided by
Accomplished Tuition. By purchasing a tuition subscription, the parent or guardian agrees to these terms.
1. Tuition
Accomplished Tuition provides online small-group tuition for children, including preparation for the 11+ examinations.
Depending on the programme selected, tuition may include English, Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
Lessons are delivered online at the advertised day and time.
Places are subject to availability and group sizes may be limited to maintain the quality of tuition.
2. Fees and Payment
Tuition is charged as a monthly subscription at the price displayed at the time of enrolment.
Payments are collected automatically each month using the payment method provided at enrolment and are processed securely by Stripe.
The price agreed at enrolment will continue to apply unless reasonable advance notice of a price change is provided.
3. Initial 8-Week Commitment
Group tuition subscriptions have a
minimum initial commitment of eight weeks.
By subscribing, the parent or guardian agrees to pay the tuition fees falling due during this initial eight-week period.
After the initial eight weeks, the subscription continues on a rolling monthly basis until cancelled in accordance with Section 5.
This minimum commitment does not affect any statutory cancellation rights which may apply.
4. Teaching Calendar and Scheduled Breaks
Tuition does not take place every week of the year.
Accomplished Tuition operates a teaching calendar containing scheduled teaching weeks and scheduled breaks, including periods during school holidays.
Monthly subscription fees are calculated as part of the overall tuition programme and are therefore charged at the same rate each month. A month containing fewer scheduled lessons because of a published holiday period does not result in a reduction in the monthly subscription fee.
Parents will be informed of the teaching calendar and any significant changes to it.
5. Cancellation by Parents
After the initial eight-week commitment, parents may cancel their subscription by providing
one month’s written notice.
Subscription payments falling due during the notice period remain payable and the pupil may continue attending lessons during that period.
Cancellation requests should be made by email to Accomplished Tuition.
This provision does not limit any statutory cancellation rights that may apply to an online purchase.
6. Missed Lessons
A pupil’s place in the group is reserved for them.
If a pupil is unable to attend a scheduled lesson, the subscription remains payable and refunds or fee reductions are not normally provided.
Where reasonably practicable, relevant lesson materials or homework may still be made available.
7. Lessons Cancelled by Accomplished Tuition
If Accomplished Tuition cancels a scheduled lesson outside the published teaching calendar, reasonable efforts will be made to provide a replacement lesson.
If a suitable replacement cannot reasonably be provided, an appropriate credit or refund will be provided.
8. Homework
Homework, practice activities or other learning materials may be provided as part of the programme.
Parents are encouraged to support pupils in completing and submitting work by the requested deadline.
Completion of homework is strongly recommended but Accomplished Tuition cannot guarantee a particular examination result or school offer.
9. Behaviour and Participation
Pupils are expected to behave appropriately during lessons and to treat the tutor and other pupils respectfully.
Accomplished Tuition may remove a pupil from an individual lesson where their behaviour is disruptive, inappropriate or interferes with the learning, safety or wellbeing of others. Removal from an individual lesson does not entitle the parent to a refund for that lesson.
Accomplished Tuition may terminate a pupil’s place
with immediate effect where, in its reasonable judgement:
- behaviour seriously or repeatedly disrupts teaching or the learning of other pupils;
- a pupil behaves abusively, threateningly or inappropriately towards the tutor or another pupil;
- there is a safeguarding or welfare concern;
- a parent or pupil seriously or repeatedly breaches these Terms & Conditions; or
- continued participation would materially affect the safe or effective running of the group.
For less serious concerns, Accomplished Tuition will normally give the parent an opportunity to resolve the issue before terminating the pupil’s place.
No prior warning is required where the behaviour or circumstances are sufficiently serious to justify immediate termination.
Where tuition is terminated because of the conduct of the pupil or parent, fees relating to tuition already provided are non-refundable.
Any fees paid solely for tuition falling after termination will be dealt with fairly in accordance with applicable consumer law. Accomplished Tuition may retain or deduct any amount it is lawfully entitled to retain in respect of services already supplied or losses reasonably arising from a breach of these terms.
10. Online Lessons and Technology
Parents are responsible for ensuring that pupils have access to a suitable device, reliable internet connection and an appropriate environment in which to participate.
Accomplished Tuition cannot normally provide refunds where a pupil is unable to participate because of technical problems with the pupil’s own equipment, software or internet connection.
Parents and pupils must not record, reproduce, distribute or share lessons or lesson content without prior permission.
11. Learning Materials
Worksheets, presentations, recordings, teaching resources and other materials supplied by Accomplished Tuition are provided for the enrolled pupil’s personal educational use.
They must not be copied, published, sold, distributed or shared with others without permission, except where permitted by law.
12. Safeguarding and Privacy
The safety and welfare of children are taken seriously.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with Accomplished Tuition’s Privacy Policy and applicable UK data-protection law.
Parents should use the designated Accomplished Tuition contact channels for communications concerning their child.
13. Educational and Examination Outcomes
Accomplished Tuition aims to provide high-quality teaching and effective preparation.
However, examination performance and school admission decisions depend upon a range of factors outside the control of Accomplished Tuition.
Accomplished Tuition therefore cannot guarantee a particular examination score, assessment result, school place or other educational outcome.
14. Changes to Tuition
It may occasionally be necessary to make reasonable changes to lesson times, group arrangements, course content or other aspects of the programme.
Where a significant change is necessary, parents will be given as much notice as reasonably practicable.
If Accomplished Tuition makes a significant change that materially alters the service purchased, the parent will be entitled to discuss appropriate alternative arrangements or cancellation.
15. Non-Payment
If a subscription payment fails or becomes overdue, Accomplished Tuition may suspend the pupil’s place until payment has been received.
Where payment remains outstanding, Accomplished Tuition may terminate the pupil’s place and seek payment of any sums properly due under these terms.
16. Cancellation Rights for Online Purchases
Consumers purchasing services online may have a statutory right to cancel their contract within
14 days of entering into it.
Where a parent asks for tuition to begin during this cancellation period, Accomplished Tuition may ask for the parent’s express request for the service to begin before the cancellation period has expired.
If the parent subsequently exercises a statutory right to cancel after tuition has begun at their request, they may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already supplied, where permitted by law.
Nothing in these terms removes or restricts statutory consumer rights.
17. Changes to These Terms
Accomplished Tuition may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Any material change affecting an existing subscription will be communicated with reasonable notice and will not remove rights already accrued under the existing agreement.
18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of
England and Wales.
Nothing in these terms affects any rights a consumer may have under applicable consumer law.
